Communication Sciences: resilience and vulnerabilities

The president of the Portuguese Association of Communication Sciences (SOPCOM), Joaquim Paulo Serra, is the guest of the next Permanent Seminar on Science, Communication and Culture Policies promoted by POLObs / CECS. The session will take place on November 30, at 16h, through the Zoom platform.

Entitled “Science Policies and the challenges for the field of Communication”, the session intends to be a moment of reflection on current public policies aimed at research in communication and the role of scientific associations in promoting the development of this academic area.

Joaquim Paulo Serra is a full professor at the Department of Communication, Philosophy and Politics at the University of Beira Interior, president of the Coordinating Research Institute (ICI) and researcher at LabCom, both at UBI.
